I'm fairly new to web design so I decided to use Yahoo hosting services for my web site as they offered a lot of support features in their package. When building the site, the interface was relatively simple to use and it didn't take too long to have a working site up and running. In dealing with the customer and tech support their team was always useful and fairly prompt. They have always been quick to fix any performance bugs that have come up, but the service has overall been fairly reliable so this hasn't been too much of a problem. Overall, I have found the hosting provided by Yahoo to be good, and I have no problem in recommending them to anyone looking to start up a web site, as long as they can afford the slightly higher price.

Yahoo has been the webhost for our company's website over the recent months and I can safely say there has not been a more reliable service provided than theirs. They have ensured that our site has run smoothly with little downtime at a very reasonable speed. The technical support staff are very knowledgeable and can fix any bugs or answer any question with minimal fuss. Also, the design toolbar is very user friendly, so I would imagine that it can be of help to anyone regardless of experience, although I have seen more up to date design features from other services. However, this shouldn’t get in the way of the building of a very useful site for whatever purpose. Overall, a very useful and reliable hosting service.

Yahoo have been a really useful webhost for me to get started in web design. I have set up my portfolio site using their service and found their design tools were really easy to get to grips with and the support staff have always been able to clear up any problems. In the time the site has been running really smoothly and the one or two problems with the site have always been fixed fairly quickly. The additional ad credits they provide have also allowed me to get my site across to a much wider audience and, as a result, I've been kept really busy with work. Thank you Yahoo!

Hosting with Yahoo has been a fairly smooth experience since joining them a year or so ago. They do offer a very user friendly site builder program which has made development on the site a thankfully easy task. There has also been little experience of downtime and the site has run pretty steadily since it went up. Any issues will get sorted fairly quickly, though customer support can be a little slow now and then, but typically they do a good job, and I have certainly experience much worse from other webhosts. The main issue I have found is that the range of features they offer is limited, meaning you can’t do anything too fancy. But if you’re only looking to run a simple website they are a good hosting service.

Overall I have been quite happy with Yahoo since I started hosting with them. I have had very little downtime and when I did make an enquiry I heard back from them within 24 hours. I have no real complaints except I think the price is probably a bit too steep. Since hosting my sites with Yahoo I’ve found several other webhosting providers who give me just as much for a cheaper price. However, that being said, Yahoo is a big name and therefore a trustworthy company. I won’t change my hosting because I’m sure that elsewhere I’d get a much worse deal.
